The primary election was held on January 31, 2012 and the race for Mayor saw incumbent Mayor John ‘Jack’ Seiler reelected by a wide margin.  While our newsletter comes out within the window of voting and answers, we hope that you have exercised your privilege to vote and made your voice heard.  The General Election will occur March 13th and for our local District IV race there are two candidates vying for that opportunity to serve.  Once again, we urge you to use your voice by casting your ballot.

We also want to remind you that on February 11, 2012, Harbour Inlet will host the Annual Neighborhood-Wide Yard Sale…be sure to gather your treasures, make them to sell and prepare for a day of fun.  The event runs from 8 AM to noon and we hope that you will be successful!

The Harbour Inlet Annual Meeting is scheduled for April 11, 2012.  We hope that you will join us as we plan projects for the neighborhood for the upcoming year.  In addition, we encourage you to volunteer your time and serve on our Board of Directors.  Contact Pat Kelley or Genia Ellis if you have an interest in serving.  The City and surrounding downtown area have lots of events planned for this season, so stay in touch and fill up your calendar with fun things to see and do!

We again ask each of you to observe the FPL light poles that abut your property and report any that are not functioning or functioning properly.  To report light pole problems, read the pole number and call the following number: 954-797-5000.  Repairs will be made in a very short period.

Included this month at the end of this publication is a section of important telephone numbers for you to retain for your convenience.  It is helpful to have the right contact handy when you need to report.  We encourage you to be a responsible community partner and report any appropriate corrections.
